Yesterday was the grand unveiling of our cress seeds, which we have been growing for over a week. We found that the cress seeds which grew the best were the ones that were watered with warm water. To our surprise, we found that the pot with no water had grown slightly, so we had a discussion about the cress absorbing the moisture that was already in the soil. The pot with detergent in and the pot with salt water had no growth, so we talked about why that could be. The pot in the dark room had caused yellow leaves to grow which we attributed to the lack of sunlight.
We were even able to try some of the cress from the warm water plant pot!
