Problem-solving pyramids!

As part of our topic ‘what was life like in Ancient Egypt?’ we have been learning about the Pyramids. During a problem-solving lesson in Maths we built our own pyramids out of multilink and worked out how many blocks would be needed for a pyramid of a certain height. We worked out how many blocks were needed for a pyramid 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and even 6 blocks high and recorded our answers. We had a lot of fun!
