As part of our Africa topic, Year 1 and 2 had a drumming session provided by Drumming Roots. The children were amazing and really enjoyed the experience of playing the African drums. Thank you Drumming Roots!

Year 3 Homework Tasks Summer
To launch our topic 'what makes a hero or villain?' we were alerted about a crime that occurred at our school over the Easter holidays. Our raffle tickets had mysteriously gone missing, presumed stolen!

Yesterday was our afternoon chocolate sale, where we invited our parents in to buy our chocolate that we had made. We had a lot of fun selling our products and made a fantastic £57.75!
Thank you you to the parents for their support. We are currently deciding how to spend our money!
As part of topic 'where does chocolate come from?' we made some chocolate products in groups. Some of us made chocolate moulds, some of us made chocolate lollies and some of us made chocolate bars. We used milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate with added ingredients such as crunchie pieces, crushed Oreos and fudge pieces!
